December 2025 Tiger Baseball Update
December 2025 Program Update
As we close out 2025 and prepare for the season ahead, we wanted to share a quick update on what the Klein Collins Tiger Baseball program has accomplished, what is underway right now, and what is coming next.
2025 Season Recap
Our Tigers had a strong run last season, finishing as the 4th seed in district play and earning a playoff berth. We won Round 1 versus Cy Ranch, then battled Conroe all the way to an elimination Game 5. It was a great season built on toughness, execution, and leadership.
We compete in one of the toughest districts in Texas: UIL Class 6A, Region II, District 15, alongside Tomball, Magnolia, Magnolia West, Klein Cain, and Klein Oak. From that level of competition, our team also earned numerous All District honors.
Alumni Page Is Live
We have officially launched our Alumni page and this will continue to evolve and grow over time, taking on new shapes as we expand the alumni network and build new opportunities around it, including the return of alumni games.
If you know a former Tiger who went on to play college baseball or professional baseball, please submit their information so we can keep building the list.

2026 Signups Are Underway
Planning for the 2026 season is already moving. Player signups are underway and we are actively lining up our program calendar, fundraising, and park improvements to support our athletes at the highest level.
Fundraiser Softball Tournament Weekend
Our 2025 Fundraiser Softball Tournament is happening this weekend. A full recap and results update will be posted shortly after the tournament concludes.
Key Dates Coming Up
- Tryouts: January 16 to 17
- Meet the Tigers: January 24
Capital Projects Update
We just completed our first major capital contribution: our new concession stand and merchandise stand located just behind the grandstands, convenient to both Tiger fans and visiting teams. This is a big step forward for the program and a long-term revenue driver that helps fund Klein Collins Tiger Baseball year after year.
Next up on the roadmap:
- Covered Batting Cages: Goal $65,000. Four fully covered lanes with new cage nets and a state-of-the-art hitting area for rain or shine.
- Audio and Video: Total $14,000 with approximately $6,000 already covered. We are roughly $8,000 away. This includes new camera capability to support streaming for families who cannot attend in person.
- Fieldhouse: Estimated $45,000. A dedicated space near the home dugout for pregame preparation and team operations.
- Pro Mesh Backstop: Estimated $64,000. A major safety and visual upgrade to bring the facility to the next level.
- Dugout Renovations: Estimated $18,000. Moving from the current structure to a more permanent, upgraded dugout buildout.
- Stadium Renovation Reserve: Target $25,000 to stay ahead of ongoing repairs and improvements.
Photos of the concession and merchandise stand will be shared as we move from slab stage into the finished buildout.
